We have been buying auto parts at this store for several years and two times they refused to honor a parts warranty. First time was on fuel pump for our 2000 Chevy Tahoe. After the fuel pump we purchased there failed after one year we took it back with receipt and they acted like pricks and said there was not lifetime warranty on it. They treated us like dummies for even asking about it. The next day I found the original box and it was on the label that it had full lifetime warranty. Took it back in and after much argument the manager finally gave us a new pump for no charge. The sales personnel have a reputation for treating customers with bias and taking their sweet time waiting on people. Only giving them 2 stars because they do have many parts that other stores do not carry. Today I called about warranty on carquest tie rods ends for same vechicle that we bought at this store a few years ago with lifetime warranty but which they are now worn out and was told that they only have limited lifetime warranty. We lost the original receipt. The sales person said that no parts places offer any lifetime warranty against normal wear. I know this is false. I suspect he just expects me to come in again and flop down more money. Nope. No way. Called autozone and advance auto and they both carry the same part with lifetime warranty that includes replacement if they wear out.
