I will however state that the district manager was very pleasant to speak with and tried explaining to me what they were working on doing, and trying to work to get us an advocate to help us. There was also a few other people that have great communication skills when dealing with their clients and for that I am thankful. Thank you to those who are working hard to help us resolve this mess.
Office manager Kenneth Wilson was terribly rude on the phone with me. After working with this office for years they made mistakes and Kenneth blames myself and my husband for their wrong doing. He refuses to make his mistakes correct. Refuses to work with us. Says we don't do anything on our part to help them. When we have done everything we possibly can as a working family of four. We have them as POA for our taxes so they could sort out their issues. He was very rude and interrupted me at every chance. Then eventually told me to be quite and listen to him, only to tell me it was our fault they didn't file our taxes correctly. Then when I told him that we've have been working with them since January 2014 and they never even filed a claim in any years until I went to to corporate office and had a claim made FINALLY through the corporate office he told me he would no longer work with us because we went above him! He also told me to quit talking and when I continued pleading my case and how they have been beating around the bush for nearly 2 1/2 years. He rudely hung up on me. I personally feel that Kenneth Wilson is a nuisance to H&R Blocks professional side and should not be allowed to work with the public with his dismissive attitude and I don't care, it's all your fault attitude should in no way allow him to be in the position he currently holes. No one in his position should treat nearly life long clients the way he did. Yes, I did go above him. Yes, we did get our claim filed. Yes, we are very frustrated. BUT this H&R Block had EVERY chance to fix this, as we have been trying to get it fixed since 2014. Our taxes from 2011-2013 are so screwed up. They told us they filed letters to Indiana state revenue for our federal and our state taxes. When I spoke with them, I found NO letter was EVER received.
